Welcome to Left on Long Island!

Left on LI was founded in November of 2025 with the sole purpose of helping young Long Islanders make a difference. We strive to empower progressive minds to take action in their community, through activism, political engagement, and pre-professional opportunities.

Left on Long Island is a left-leaning, non-profit organization, run by and meant for young community members. We were co-founded by three, passionate Long Islanders looking to have an impact.

Whether in local issues or political involvement, young people need a seat at the table. Our goal as an organization is to serve as a connector between the youngest generations and those in power. We hope that as our organization grows, more of our members and friends will understand how policy is set and can be impacted.
